Saints Healthcare volunteers

A new partnership with community volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeline of nonprofit organizations–they form an army of engaged foot soldiers who carry important messages to and from the community to help shape and guide a dynamic service organization. Saints Healthcare has been busy assembling a volunteer network of community and business leaders to spark its own philanthropic momentum.

Volunteer opportunities

Each of the committees is led by a Board Member and has between eight to twelve community volunteers serving as members.

  • Community Relations Committee: Firmly establishes Saints Healthcare as the premiere community benefit organization supporting local health care through St. Francis Regional Medical Center and St. Gertrude's Health and Rehabilitation Center in the individual, civic and business communities served.
  • Special Events Committee: Works with staff to provide the leadership for the Saints Healthcare’s two major events: golf tournament and gala. The committee supports the planning site-map and implementation of the events with the goal of raising funds and visibility of St. Francis Regional Medical Center and St. Gertrude’s Health and Rehabilitation Center.
  • Donor Development Committee: Focuses on developing special relationships with individual and business donors and potential donors to support the mission and vision of the campus.
  • St. Francis Employee Giving Committee: Plans and implements activities that educate on Saints Healthcare Funds impacts and priorities for St. Francis, in addition to increasing employee giving.
  • St. Gertrude's Employee Giving Committee: Plans and implements activities that educate on Saints Healthcare Funds impacts and priorities for St. Gertrude's, in addition to increasing employee giving.
